Worship Artiste of the Year the the artiste who is adjudged by the Judges and general public, through voting, with the most intimate worship performances that led their audience to experience the presence and power of God. Artiste must have released a Hit Single or Album during the year under review and must have made the greatest Worship impact to the audience on stages mounted under the year of review. The Worship Artiste must have performances at significant Gospel Events and Platforms during the year under review.

This is the New Gospel Artiste adjudged by the Judges and general public, through voting, as the most promising and talented Gospel Artiste that has emerged on the gospel scene. This Artiste must be have been through the Discovery of the Year category, and must have released a Hit Single/Album which shot him or her into fame and relevance during the year under review. The New Artiste must have performed at numerous Gospel Events and Platforms, both local and international, and must have excelled on those stages.
