The complete list of categories will be available for viewing, download and online submission of nomination at www.praiseachievementawards.com along with the various category definitions.

 

We will deploy the following ways to announce our call for nominations and subsequently, verifying the submissions:

1. We will publish call for entries/nominations in the press and online platforms
2. Nomination can be submitted by the artiste(s), artiste managers, fans, record companies, and the general public
3. Various music databases and search tools will be used to track online releases and to verify dates of release.

 

The Praise Achievement Awards Judges (comprising of expert industry persons from GHANA and the Diaspora) and the Board of Directors will work together to complete the shortlisting of the various submissions received.

The board compiles all entries received into the appropriate categories and provides a final nominations list which is published during the Nominees’ Unveiling event. Once the unveiling event is completed, the nominees will be published and the general public will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite nominee.

The first edition of Praise Achievement Awards had 42 award categories. The second edition of the awards saw an increase to 43 award categories. Due to the overwhelming demand and requests, we are making some changes and increasing the categories to 45 award categories in 2024! This is exciting news and we look forward to recognizing the additional categories this year and beyond.
